The book contains the contributions to a symposium organised in honour of the administrative scientist Klaus König. It offers an overview of topical issues concerning the changing agenda of public affairs, democratic decision-making, reform of German federalism and the securing of an efficient energy supply, as well as methodological reflections on a transdisciplinary analysis of government action and on a transnational approach in administrative law science.
