Reading,comprehension and writing in the Portuguese language is extremely important for the individual to communicate well and with mastery. With the passing of time,the old practices of language teaching have been left behind,giving openness to new conceptions of teaching,which are a new opportunity to review the practices of language teaching,as well as the discovery and fixing of the social function that language develops in society.Language changes every day with its historical and ideological development, and the individual is an integral part of this healthy change in the scientific development to which he or she is subject. Words are not just words; they are loaded with meanings and ideologies that imply reflection by the speakers.
