I do not share the awareness of life of my contemporaries. However, I guess that my bucking the trend is just part of a washed-out self-image. My poems and my other texts are islands of pause. Most of them land on paper: on slips of paper and fragments, in the diary, in rough books and notebooks. Poetry is a "product line". "Many pennies make a dollar."
