Marc Jung grew up with Hip Hop and Graffiti. The man knows what hes talking about when it comes to street credibility and macho gestures. Thats why every exhibition visitor gets what he needs from his room-filling art installations: mordant ridicule or warm-hearted appreciation. Finger pointing and allusions are authentic and sarcastic at the same time. This artist is aware of where he stands. With his art, he brings a counterculture hip-­hop-­punk-­anarchy-­riot-­feeling to the point. He returns what exists since the 60s and what has been lost, which is subversion and attitude - knowing that ultimately every­thing ends up as mainstream and he cannot escape the conflict between rejection and affirmation. Two and three-dimensional objects are used: drawings, objects, printed photos, stapled raw on the wall, and reworked with paint spray, mixed-media canvases (produced using oil,

acrylic and charcoal). We get a glimpse of eupho­ric life experiences and social criticism, presented in a space-filling collage, which is radical and expressive.
