Contrary to all claims to objectivity and neutrality, gender inequalities persist at German universities. Women* are still underrepresented, especially in STEM. The anthology considers questions regarding the reasons of persistent inequalities as well as possibilities of change. These are examined in the context of contemporary discourses regarding academic cultures and intersectionality. The anthology discusses strategies of gender equality in universities.
