'Energy Turnaround and Financial Crisis: Current Challenges Facing European Law'



The Energy Turnaround ('Energiewende') and the efforts to overcome the financial and Eurozone crisis raise problems that are not merely economic and political in nature, but of a legal dimension as well. This volume analyses how European law addresses these challenges. The six contributions examine, inter alia, the conformity of measures to promote renewable energies with EU state aid rules, European legislation regarding the accelerated grid expansion, and the impacts of the Single Supervisory Mechanism.
