Clinical depression is a debilitating mood disorder which negatively impacts ones productivity leading to the burden of disability that requires treatment to promote recovery and prevent relapses. To date, there exists a range of diverse treatment interventions for depressive disorder to reduce its negative outcomes on the health and daily functioning of individuals. The etiology of depression is as varied and multifaceted as symptom clusters themselves. This book is a brief exploration of various research focus on the themes of etiology, cultural influences and time perception in the neuropsychosocial spectrum of a condition that is diverse and at times, elusive to all possible options of treatment.
