The main purpose of this writing in its entirety is to attempt a descriptive-analytical study between the views of C.G. Jung (1875-1961) and Ibn 'Arabi (1165-1240) on Biblical Adam. C.G. Jung and Ibn 'Arabi have been chosen as appropriate subjects for this study inasmuch as both figures express the object prominently in their articulated writings. Derived from the scripture,"God created Adam in His own image," which is the real nature of human beings, Ibn 'Arabi discusses human perfection within the context of oneness of being; there is only one reality, which is God. Jung contends that each of us bears the God-image - the stamp of the self - within ourselves. Even though both figures regard Adam as perfect man, they see it from a very different level of understanding. This book is intended for those who are interested to study about Man or to have an understanding of Self-Knowledge in the modern era. This present work can enrich the psychological theories in general besides actualizing Ibn 'Arabi's thought in a modern context. This study can help people who search of themselves and for the psychologists who help them to have a broader perspective from other disciplines of study.
